Find Your Own Calcutta

Mother Teresa frequently would tell people, "Find your own Calcutta." By this she meant that each person needed to find his or her own place to love others and to serve others, wherever that place was located in this world.

In Matthew 25:35-36 (NKJV), Jesus said, "For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me." In Matthew 25:40 (NKJV), Jesus added, "Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me."

James 2:26 (NKJV) says, "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."

Show your faith through your works.

Love and serve the least of the brethren, as Jesus commanded.

Find your own Calcutta.
