Dallas Cowboys

Back in April of this year, my wife, Dorcas, and I had the opportunity to travel to Dallas, Texas, USA for the very first time. We had a great time in Dallas. We visited the Sixth Floor Museum at the site of the old Texas School Book Depository in Dealey Plaza, where former U.S. President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963. We visited Southfork Ranch, where the famous 1980s TV series "Dallas" was filmed. We spent a wonderful Sunday at The Potter's House, where Bishop T.D. Jakes serves as pastor.

We also had the opportunity to tour the Dallas Cowboys' new stadium, and it was an amazing place to see. The new Cowboy Stadium cost around one billion dollars to build, and it features the largest HD TV screens in the world. The stadium is absolutely jaw-dropping to tour. It could qualify as one of the new wonders of the world.

We were reminded of our visit to Cowboy Stadium recently when a local pastor told us how he had gone to Dallas to speak at a Christian men's conference there, and some of the Dallas Cowboys players were in attendance. Tony Romo, Jon Kitna, and Keith Brooking all were at the conference. It is exciting to hear how God is working in each of their lives. Please keep all three players in prayer.
