Eternal Impact

Will you have an eternal impact on this world?

When your time on this planet is done and you have entered into eternity, will what you have done here have had an eternal impact?

We waste so much of our lives - and even our ministries - on trivial things.

Think back on things that were important to you 1, 5, 10, and even 20 years ago. Are they still important today? Or were they only important for a season? Or were they really ever that important at all?

Focus on having an eternal impact.

In Matthew 7:16 (TNIV) and again in Matthew 7:20 (TNIV), Jesus states, "By their fruit you will recognize them."

In John 15:5 (TNIV) and again in John 15:8 (TNIV), Jesus exhorts his disciples (and us) to "bear much fruit." In John 15:16 (TNIV), Jesus exhorts his disciples (and us) to bear "fruit that will last."

Bear much fruit. Bear fruit that will last. Bear fruit that will have an eternal impact in this world.
