Mark Twain once said, "I can live for two months on a good compliment."
Twain was right. A good compliment energizes a person and lends a healthy confidence to its recipient.
Be generous with your compliments. You will uplift others and you will spur them on to greater achievements.
Proverbs 12:25 (NKJV) says, "Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad."
In Proverbs 25:11 (NKJV), Solomon adds, "A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver."
Fill your world with good words fitly spoken. They're as valuable as gold and silver.
